Team Lead - IT Support
Educational Qualification: Diploma / Graduate in any discipline
Experience: 5 - 8 Years (Active Directory / DNS / DHCP)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and implement a secure, scalable, and resilient Active Directory design, following industry best practices while adhering to Information Security standards.
  • Provide technical assistance and escalation support for all troubleshooting tasks related to AD, including but not limited to integration with Windows and non-Windows endpoints, authentication, role based access controls, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Facilitate the implementation of Group Policy Objects (GPO) based on stated requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve any GPO related issues which arise.
  • Implement and Troubleshoot Windows server update services (WSUS).
  • Participate in the identification of vulnerabilities and their mitigation.
  • Create and maintain documentation on SOPs and System Design.
  • Research, evaluate, recommend and implement new technologies.
  • Maintain effective communications with vendors, peers and clients in support of assigned projects.
  • Manage user requests using IT support ticket system.
  • Lead IT support Team.
  • Able to be on call 24x7 to troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory related issues.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Active Directory design and support.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2012 , 2016 and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Experience in manual granular level permission, manual schema updates , AD OU design etc.
  • Working knowledge in reviewing vulnerability bulletins/findings and providing recommended mitigation and impact assessments related to Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Should have knowledge of ITIL framework.
  • Should be acquainted with IP Telephony.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills.
  • Experience in creating documentation, diagrams, workflows, etc.
  • Able to work well under pressure and within short time constraints.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • 5 - 8 Years experience in Infrastructure support (L1 & L2) in which 2+ years of leadership experience will be an advantage.
  • Familiar with standard desktop and server security best practices.
