The SEO/ Digital Marketing Team Lead is responsible for handling SEO and Online Digital Marketing strategies for the organization. Team Lead would also coordinate with different functions, within the organization to perform SEO and digital marketing activities. The job incumbent need to be goal oriented, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal skills.

Key Management Areas of Responsibility:

Digital Marketing:
  • Devise, implement and run innovative campaigns across client accounts on in line with the client’s goals and objectives on Google and Bing platforms.
  • To manage budgets in line with strategy and ensure that monthly spend is on target on search engines (Google and Bing) and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Revisit and analyze the paid campaigns on the daily basis.
  • Collect and analyze website Metrics data from Google Analytics.
  • To measure performance and create reports of all paid marketing campaigns across platforms (ROIs and KPIs).
Search Engine Optimization:
  • Review and analyze client sites for areas that needs to be improved, deleted, or revised.
  • Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated to SEO strategy.
  • Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy.
  • Communicate with clients, team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results.
  • Collaborate on client strategy and goal definition for success.
  • Set performance indicators for SEO which complement the overall marketing and business objectives of the company.
  • Promote both offsite and onsite activities and also the interactions that build ranking, profile and traffic.
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments.


  • Google Adwords and Google Analytics Certification is a must.
  • Minimum one year of hands on experience in handling Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Demonstrable experience leading Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
  • Should be well acquainted with various Social Media marketing & Listening Tools, tracking the Social media performance with focus on high ROI.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages.
  • Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific.
  • Should be able to mentor and guide junior members in the team.
  • Should keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines.
  • Develop and implement link building campaigns.
  • Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds,webmaster tools).
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
